Magnificat (2004)
My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessèd For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation He hath showed strength with his arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent away empty He hath helped his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever. Luke 1: 47-55 (Authorized Version)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son : and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.
A Song of Revelation (2004)
You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power for you have created all things and by your will they have their being You are worthy, O Lamb, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed for God Saints, from every tribe and language and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God and they will reign on the earth. Revelation 4:11, 5:9b-10 (New International Version)
To the One who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, be blessing and honour, glory and might, for ever and ever.
