A setting of Psalm 57 for SATB choir with independent piano accompaniment. 
The duration is between 5 minutes 30 to 6 minutes, depending on the tempi.  

Be gracious unto me, O God, 
be gracious unto me; 
For in thee my soul takes refuge,
in the shadow of thy wings.  [repeat]

I will call unto God the Most High; 
Unto God that performeth all things. 
And He sendeth from the heavens and saveth me; 
Let thy glory be exalted above all the earth.

For I lie down among roaring lions,
And their tongues are fiery, like sharpened swords.
Let thy glory be exalted above all the earth.
 
My heart is fixed, O Lord. My heart is fixed, O Lord:
I will sing, yea, I will praise the Lord.

I will wake the dawn.  Awake my soul!

My voice is unto God, and I will cry;

I sought the Lord in the day of my distress.                   
My hand by night was stretched out,                            
yet my soul hath refused to be comforted.                     
I remembered God, and complained,                           
and my spirit was overwhelmed.

I remember my song in the night;
I meditate in my heart, and my spirit doth inquire:           

Will the Lord reject for ever?                                       
Will his promise be no more?                                       
Hath his mercy ceased for ever?                                                   
Hath his word come to an end?

I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.          
The waters saw thee, O God, and trembled,
yea, the depths were troubled.                                     
The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound.
The voice of thy thunder was in the heavens:
the earth was troubled and quaked.                               

Thy way is in the sea,                                                   
and thy paths are in the great waters;                            
Thy footsteps are not known.
Thou hast led as a flock thy people.
